Tristan Thoma
Partner
Tristan Thoma is a licensed Texas Real Estate Broker and has been involved with real estate and property management since 2006. Tristan earned his BBA degree in Finance with an emphasis in Real Estate from Texas Tech University. Following school, he began his property management career first with a small operation and later moved to a large local real estate company where he eventually became the Vice President of Multifamily Housing. Tristan, along with a couple of partners, founded a property management firm in 2015 which successfully grew to manage a large portfolio of single-family units, multiple apartment complexes, and over 70,000 square feet of commercial office space.
Tristan believes in superior customer service and is passionate about running an efficient operation. He believes in providing an outstanding customer experience for clients and property owners. When he isn’t working, Tristan enjoys spending time with his wife, children, playing golf, coaching youth baseball and tennis, and volunteering for Make-A-Wish.
Mike McDougal
Partner
Mike McDougal is a CPA by education (BBA TCU, accounting) and first career (Auditor, Ernst & Young). He has extensive experience in the real estate industry (30 years) focused primarily in residential real estate (apartments) but also commercial real estate (office buildings) and development. His firm redeveloped Overton Park in Lubbock in what was described as the largest privately funded urban renewal project in the country.
Mike is a founding board member of the Lubbock Angel Network and has participated in more over 50 new business startups since 2015.
Mike has been and continues to be very involved in the Lubbock community having served on the board of the Lubbock Economic Development Alliance for 7 years, the last 2 as chairman. Most recently he served on the Board of Managers of the Lubbock County Hospital District (University Medical Center) (2019 Chairman). He also serves as an iTTU Mentor at Texas Tech University’s Innovation Hub at Research Park.
